Ohio High School Basketball - Fairfield holds off Manchester

The Fairfield Lions basketball team scored 46 points and limited the host Manchester Greyhounds to 42 in the Lions league triumph on Saturday.

The Lions now possess a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to Miami Trace for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. Fairfield will confront a Panthers team coming off a 43-41 league win over Jackson (Jackson, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 16-0.

With the loss, Manchester falls to 9-9 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host Notre Dame (Portsmouth, OH) to confront the Titans in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. The Titans go into the game with a record of 12-4. Notre Dame lost 53-37 in their recent non-league game against South Webster (South Webster, OH)
