California High School Basketball - Needles overwhelms Founders Classical Academy

February 1, 2025: Needles, CA 92363

The Needles Mustangs basketball team scored 73 points and limited the visiting Founders Classical Academy Centurions to 32 in the Mustangs league triumph on Saturday.

The Mustangs now have a 25-0 record. They play next when they host Laughlin for a 2A Southern game on Tuesday, February 4. Needles will confront a Cougars team coming off a 60-49 league loss to Awaken Christian (Las Vegas, NV). The Cougars record now stands at 5-10.

With the loss, Founders Classical Academy falls to 18-4 on the campaign. The Centurions travel to GV Christian (Henderson, NV) to confront the Guardians in a 2A Southern game on Tuesday, February 4. The Guardians go into the game with a record of 9-14. GV Christian won 48-44 in their recent league game against White Pine (Ely, NV)
