The Bears now possess a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to Midway for a 1A Region III District 18 bout on Tuesday, February 4. Gold-Burg will play a Falcons team coming off a 58-52 league loss to Forestburg (Forestburg, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 10-14.

With the loss, Prairie Valley falls to 2-19 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Bellevue (Bellevue, TX) to play the Eagles in a 1A Region III District 18 bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 7-19. Bellevue won 57-56 in their recent league bout against Saint Jo (Saint Jo, TX)
