Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Grove City sneaks past Slippery Rock

The Grove City Eagles (Grove City, PA) basketball edged the visiting Slippery Rock Rockets (Slippery Rock, PA), 47-40 in Saturday's league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 14-4 record. They play next when they host Sharon for a District 10 Region 4 bout on Tuesday, February 4. Grove City will play a Tigers team coming off a 59-51 league win over Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 9-6.

With the loss, Slippery Rock falls to 11-7 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Mercer (Mercer, PA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 11-5.
