Hopi Bruins (Keams Canyon, AZ) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Many Farms Lobos (Many Farms, AZ), 66-62 in a league match.
With the victory, Hopi advances its record to 9-13 on the year. The Bruins travel to Ganado (Ganado, AZ) to face the Hornets in a non-league match on Monday, February 3. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 3-19. Ganado lost 65-38 in their recent league match against Chinle (Chinle, AZ)
The Lobos now own a 8-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley for a 2A North match on Monday, February 3. Many Farms will face a Pirates squad coming off a 58-44 league win over Pinon (Pinon, AZ). The Pirates record now stands at 11-11.
