The Mt. Edgecumbe Braves basketball team scored 68 points and limited the host Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears to 47 in the Braves non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Braves now have a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to Sitka for a 3A Eastern game on Friday, February 7. Mt. Edgecumbe will confront a Wolves team coming off a 61-52 non-league loss to Ketchikan (Ketchikan, AK). The Wolves record now stands at 11-2.

With the loss, Juneau-Douglas falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The Crimson bears travel to Kodiak (Kodiak, AK) to confront the Bears in a non-league game on Friday, February 7. The Bears go into the game with a record of 2-9. Kodiak lost 49-38 in their recent league game against Wasilla (Wasilla, AK)
