The Kellogg Wildcats basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Orofino Maniacs to 50 in the Wildcats league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now have a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to St. Maries for a 3A Central Idaho game on Tuesday, February 4. Kellogg will confront a Lumberjacks team coming off a 63-52 league win over Orofino (Orofino, ID). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 7-7.

With the loss, Orofino falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Maniacs travel to Prairie (Cottonwood, ID) to confront the Pirates in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 7-6.
