The Wasilla Warriors basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Kodiak Bears to 38 in the Warriors league triumph on Saturday.

The Warriors now have a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to Palmer for a 4A Northern Lights game on Tuesday, February 4. Wasilla will confront a Moose team coming off a 45-44 non-league loss to West Valley (Fairbanks, AK). The Moose record now stands at 10-2.

With the loss, Kodiak falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Bears host Juneau-Douglas (Juneau, AK) to confront the Crimson Bears in a non-league game on Friday, February 7. The Crimson Bears go into the game with a record of 5-12. Juneau-Douglas lost 68-47 in their recent non-league game against Mt. Edgecumbe (Sitka, AK)
