The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Lake Oconee Academy Titans (Greensboro, GA) and the host Washington-Wilkes Tigers (Washington, GA), observed Lake Oconee Academy's basketball team knock off Washington-Wilkes by a score of 60-45.
The Titans (14-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Warren County (Warrenton, GA). The Screaming Devils come into the A D2 Region 8 challenge with a 15-7 record. In their last challenge, Warren County prevailed over Lincoln County (Lincolnton, GA), 61-54, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Towns County Indians (Hiawassee, GA) in a A D2 Region 8 challenge, on Friday, February 7. Washington-Wilkes will attempt to improve on its 1-14 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 13-11 record after their 72-63 league win over Lincoln County (Lincolnton, GA).
