The Panthers now possess a 16-8 record. They play next when they host Banneker for a AAAAA Region 3 bout on Tuesday, February 4. Langston Hughes will play a Trojans team coming off a 72-58 league loss to Morrow (Morrow, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 9-13.

With the loss, Morrow falls to 7-15 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Jonesboro (Jonesboro, GA) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Monday, February 3. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 15-7. Jonesboro lost 63-50 in their recent non-league bout against Lee County (Leesburg, GA)
