In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Snake River Panthers basketball team scored a big 67-44 triumph over the Marsh Valley Eagles.

The Panthers (16-1) will now prepare for their contest against American Falls (American Falls, ID). The Beavers go into the 4A Great Basin contest with a 13-4 record. In their last contest, American Falls smashed Bear Lake (Montpelier, ID), 70-50, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Bear Lake Bears (Montpelier, ID) in a 4A South East Idaho challenge, on Wednesday, February 5. Marsh Valley will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 3-12 record after their 70-50 league loss to American Falls (American Falls, ID).
