Minnesota High School Basketball - Wabasso tipped by New Ulm Cathedral

The New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds nipped the host Wabasso Rabbits basketball squad by a final score of 76-70 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Greyhounds clash with the Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Mustangs (Hector, MN) in a A Section 2 outing, on Tuesday, February 4. New Ulm Cathedral will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 0-18 record after their 84-43 league loss to Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (Winthrop, MN).

The Rabbits now own a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Yellow Medicine East for a A Section 3 match on Monday, February 3. Wabasso will face a Sting squad coming off a 83-71 league loss to Lac qui Parle Valley (Madison, MN). The Sting record now stands at 2-18.
