The Newcastle Dogies (Newcastle, WY) basketball edged the visiting Wheatland Bulldogs (Wheatland, WY), 44-43 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Dogies now possess a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Burns for a non-league bout on Friday, February 7. Newcastle will play a Broncs team coming off a 77-32 non-league loss to Douglas (Douglas, WY). The Broncs record now stands at 3-13.
With the loss, Wheatland falls to 6-12 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Rock River (Rock River, WY) to play the Longhorns in a non-league bout on Monday, February 3. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 0-9. Rock River lost 49-45 in their recent non-league bout against Midwest (Midwest, WY)
