Texas High School Basketball - Nimitz can't get by Spring

The Nimitz Cougars basketball squad (Houston, TX), was nudged 58-55 in Saturday's league battle with the host Spring Lions (Spring, TX)

With the victory, Spring advances its record to 14-15 on the year. The Lions travel to Aldine (Houston, TX) to meet the Mustangs in a 6A Region II District 14 battle on Wednesday, February 5. The Mustangs enter the battle with a record of 21-12. Aldine won 61-53 in their recent league battle against Eisenhower (Houston, TX)

The Cougars now own a 17-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dekaney for a 6A Region II District 14 battle on Wednesday, February 5. Nimitz will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 65-49 league win over MacArthur (Houston, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 14-16.
