The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Niobrara County Tigers (Lusk, WY) and the visiting Rock River Longhorns (Rock River, WY), observed Niobrara County's basketball team overwhelm Rock River by a margin of 74-35.
The Tigers (12-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lingle-Fort Laramie (Lingle, WY). The Doggers come into the 1A Southeast challenge with a 16-0 record. In their last challenge, Lingle-Fort Laramie trounced Pine Bluffs (Pine Bluffs, WY), 56-36, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Longhorns battle the Wheatland Bulldogs (Wheatland, WY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 3. Rock River will attempt to better on its 0-10 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 6-12 record after their 44-43 non-league loss to Newcastle (Newcastle, WY).
