Virginia High School Basketball - Western Branch sneaks past Tallwood

The Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) basketball edged the visiting Tallwood Lions (Virginia Beach, VA), 66-61 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Bruins now possess a 6-8 record. They play next when they host Hickory for a Southeastern bout on Tuesday, February 4. Western Branch will play a Hawks team coming off a 74-29 league loss to Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 7-8.
With the loss, Tallwood falls to 7-11 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Manor (Portsmouth, VA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Monday, February 3. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 6-10. Manor lost 57-47 in their recent league bout against Churchland (Portsmouth, VA)
