Georgia High School Basketball - Union Grove held off by Woodland

February 1, 2025: Stockbridge, GA 30281

In Saturday's league test, the Woodland Wolfpack (Stockbridge, GA) basketball squad got by the visiting Union Grove Wolverines (McDonough, GA), by a score of 83-80.

Next, the Wolfpack encounter the Eagle's Landing Eagles (McDonough, GA) in a AAAA Region 2 test, on Tuesday, February 4. Woodland will attempt to improve on its 11-13 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 17-7 record after their 58-49 league win over Locust Grove (Locust Grove, GA).

The Wolverines (15-9) will now prepare for their test against Jones County (Gray, GA). The Greyhounds come into the AAAA Region 2 test with a 6-16 record. In their last test, Jones County was nipped by McDonough (McDonough, GA), 55-53, in a league test.
