The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Washington School for the Deaf Terriers (Vancouver, WA) and the host Utah School for the Deaf & Blind Eagles (Ogden, UT), observed Washington School for the Deaf's basketball team overwhelm Utah School for the Deaf & Blind by a score of 47-17.
The Terriers (7-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Three Rivers Christian (Longview, WA). The Eagles come into the 1B Columbia Valley challenge with a 1-7 record.
In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Mount Vernon Patriots (Murray, UT) in a 1A Region 21 challenge, on Wednesday, February 5. Utah School for the Deaf & Blind will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 2-14 record after their 41-26 league loss to Telos (Orem, UT).
