In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Marblehead Magicians basketball team scored a good 61-44 win over the Beverly Panthers.
The Magicians (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Malden (Malden, MA). The Golden Tornados come into the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Malden was topped by Everett (Everett, MA), 71-49, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Haverhill Hillies (Haverhill, MA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 3. Beverly will attempt to better on its 10-3 season record.
