California High School Basketball - Mt. Carmel holds off Poway

The Mt. Carmel Sundevils basketball team scored 64 points and limited the host Poway Titans to 59 in the Sundevils league triumph on Saturday.
The Sundevils now have a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Del Norte for a game on Saturday, February 1. Mt. Carmel will confront a Nighthawks team coming off a 48-32 league win over Poway (Poway, CA). The Nighthawks record now stands at 7-3.
With the loss, Poway falls to 5-14 on the campaign. The Titans travel to San Marcos (San Marcos, CA) to confront the Knights in a game on Saturday, February 1. The Knights go into the game with a record of 18-2. San Marcos won 65-40 in their recent non-league game against Mission Hills (San Marcos, CA)
