Georgia High School Basketball - Academy for Classical Education knocks off Bleckley County

In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Academy for Classical Education Gryphons basketball team scored a good 56-44 win over the Bleckley County Royals.
The Gryphons (18-2) will now prepare for their contest against Central (Macon, GA). The Chargers come into the A D1 Region 2 contest with a 17-4 record. In their last contest, Central defeated Southwest (Macon, GA), 44-34, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Royals battle the Southwest Patriots (Macon, GA) in a A D1 Region 2 contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Bleckley County will attempt to better on its 12-7 season record. The Patriots come into the contest with a 1-14 record after their 44-34 league loss to Central (Macon, GA).
