Illinois High School Basketball - Barrington knocked off by Lake Zurich

In Saturday's non-league test, the Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Barrington Fillies/Broncos (Barrington, IL), by a score of 40-31.

Next, the Bears encounter the Zion-Benton Zee-Bees (Zion, IL) in a North Suburban test, on Tuesday, February 4. Lake Zurich will attempt to improve on its 19-7 season record. The Zee-Bees come into the test with a 2-22 record after their 55-20 league loss to Warren Township (Gurnee, IL).

The Fillies/Broncos (12-15) will now prepare for their test against Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Cougars come into the Mid-Suburban - West test with a 13-12 record. In their last test, Conant went down by Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL), 44-32, in a non-league test.
