The Voorheesville Blackbirds basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Berne-Knox-Westerlo Bulldogs to 46 in the Blackbirds non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Blackbirds now have a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to Troy for a Section 2 Colonial game on Tuesday, February 4. Voorheesville will confront a Flying Horses team coming off a 61-33 league loss to Albany Academy for Girls (Albany, NY). The Flying Horses record now stands at 10-6.

With the loss, Berne-Knox-Westerlo falls to 11-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Mayfield (Mayfield, NY) to confront the Panthers in a Section 2 Western game on Wednesday, February 5. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 9-7. Mayfield lost 66-57 in their recent league game against Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville (St. Johnsville, NY)
