The Cove Leopards basketball squad (Cove, OR), lost 39-30 in Saturday's league battle with the host Griswold Grizzlies (Helix, OR)
With the victory, Griswold advances its record to 10-10 on the year. The Grizzlies host Echo (Echo, OR) to meet the Cougars in a 1A Old Oregon battle on Friday, February 7. The Cougars enter the battle with a record of 13-7.
The Leopards now own a 4-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pilot Rock for a 1A Old Oregon battle on Thursday, February 6. Cove will meet a Rockets squad coming off a 49-31 non-league win over Eddyville (Eddyville, OR). The Rockets record now stands at 9-13.
