The DeSoto Thunderbirds (West Helena, AR) basketball crushed the host Tunica Academy Blue Devils (Tunica, MS), 65-31 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Thunderbirds now possess a 28-3 record. They play next when they travel to Deer Creek for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4. DeSoto will play a Warriors team coming off a 47-10 non-league loss to Briarfield Academy (Lake Providence, LA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-3.
