In their next game, the Longhorns battle the Sam Rayburn Texans (Pasadena, TX) in a 6A Region III District 22 contest, on Wednesday, February 5. Dobie will attempt to better on its 11-20 season record. The Texans go into the contest with a 1-24 record after their 94-7 league loss to Dawson (Pearland, TX).
