The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Washington Panthers (Washington, IL) and the visiting East Peoria Raiders (East Peoria, IL), observed Washington's basketball team overwhelm East Peoria by a score of 67-41.

The Panthers (27-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Dunlap (Dunlap, IL). The Eagles come into the Mid-Illini challenge with a 17-11 record. In their last challenge, Dunlap was routed by Canton (Canton, IL), 46-44, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Raiders encounter the Morton Potters (Morton, IL) in a Mid-Illini challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. East Peoria will attempt to improve on its 13-14 season record. The Potters come into the challenge with a 21-4 record after their 61-49 league win over Limestone (Bartonville, IL).
