The Red Wing Wingers defeated the visiting Faribault Falcons basketball squad by a final score of 65-45 in Saturday's league outing.
Next, the Wingers clash with the Mayo Spartans (Rochester, MN) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, February 4. Red Wing will attempt to upgrade on its 16-5 season record. The Spartans come into the outing with a 17-5 record after their 68-50 non-league win over Mankato West (Mankato, MN).
The Falcons (7-16) will now prepare for their outing against Austin (Austin, MN). The Packers come into the AAA Section 1 outing with a 18-4 record. In their last outing, Austin was defeated by Owatonna (Owatonna, MN), 54-52, in a non-league outing.
