In Saturday's league test, the Ichabod Crane Riders (Valatie, NY) basketball squad trounced the visiting Lansingburgh Knights (Troy, NY), by a score of 49-27.

Next, the Riders encounter the La Salle Institute Cadets (Troy, NY) in a Section 2 Colonial test, on Tuesday, February 4. Ichabod Crane will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Cadets come into the test with a 8-7 record after their 64-47 league win over Cohoes (Cohoes, NY).

The Knights (0-14) will now prepare for their test against Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk (Ravena, NY). The Indians come into the Section 2 Colonial test with a 3-12 record. In their last test, Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk was routed by Mohonasen (Schenectady, NY), 47-37, in a league test.
