The Sumter County Panthers (Americus, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Jordan Red Jackets (Columbus, GA), 69-25 in Saturday's league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 15-6 record. They play next when they host Shaw for a AA Region 1 bout on Monday, February 3. Sumter County will play a Raiders team coming off a 37-33 league loss to Columbus (Columbus, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 7-15.
With the loss, Jordan falls to 1-15 on the campaign. The Red jackets host Carver (Columbus, GA) to play the Tigers in a AA Region 1 bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 10-9. Carver won 69-59 in their recent league bout against Columbus (Columbus, GA)
