In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting June Buchanan Crusaders basketball team scored a close 42-41 win over the Oneida Baptist Institute Mountaineers.
The Crusaders (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Lee County (Beattyville, KY). The Bobcats come into the non-league contest with a 5-8 record.
In their next game, the Mountaineers battle the Jackson City Tigers (Jackson, KY) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Oneida Baptist Institute will attempt to better on its 2-11 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 0-11 record after their 43-38 non-league loss to Jenkins (Jenkins, KY).
