The Kellogg Wildcats basketball team scored 45 points and limited the visiting Orofino Maniacs to 38 in the Wildcats league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now have a 8-10 record. They play next when they host Priest River for a 3A Intermountain game on Wednesday, February 5. Kellogg will confront a Spartans team coming off a 61-30 league loss to Grangeville (Grangeville, ID). The Spartans record now stands at 12-6.

With the loss, Orofino falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The Maniacs travel to Lapwai (Lapwai, ID) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Monday, February 3. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 16-3. Lapwai won 68-19 in their recent league game against Troy (Troy, ID)
