California High School Basketball - Linfield Christian nudges Woodcrest Christian

The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Linfield Christian Lions (Temecula, CA) and the host Woodcrest Christian Royals (Riverside, CA), observed Linfield Christian's basketball team edge Woodcrest Christian by a score of 50-44.

The Lions (8-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Aquinas (San Bernardino, CA). The Falcons come into the Ambassador challenge with a 9-15 record. In their last challenge, Aquinas edged Woodcrest Christian (Riverside, CA), 48-41, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Royals encounter the Loma Linda Academy Roadrunners (Loma Linda, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Woodcrest Christian will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Roadrunners come into the challenge with a 16-2 record after their 56-18 league win over Redlands Adventist Academy (Redlands, CA).
