In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Milton Black Panthers basketball team scored a big 76-48 triumph over the Montoursville Warriors.

The Black Panthers (12-7) will now prepare for their contest against Shamokin Area (Coal Township, PA). The Indians go into the Heartland II contest with a 13-7 record. In their last contest, Shamokin Area was trounced by Lewisburg (Lewisburg, PA), 62-35, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors encounter the Mifflinburg Wildcats (Mifflinburg, PA) in a Heartland II challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Montoursville will attempt to improve on its 3-16 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 2-15 record after their 58-25 league loss to Central Columbia (Bloomsburg, PA).
