The New London Wildcats basketball team scored 51 points and limited the host Monroeville Eagles to 34 in the Wildcats league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now have a 15-4 record. They play next when they travel to Crestview for a Firelands game on Monday, February 3. New London will confront a Cougars team coming off a 34-26 league win over Plymouth (Plymouth, OH). The Cougars record now stands at 10-8.

With the loss, Monroeville falls to 13-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Mansfield Christian (Mansfield, OH) to confront the Flames in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. The Flames go into the game with a record of 15-4. Mansfield Christian lost 54-52 in their recent league game against Lucas (Lucas, OH)
