The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Mt. Zion Prep Academy Warriors (Lanham, MD) and the visiting Riverdale Baptist Crusaders (Upper Marlboro, MD), observed Mt. Zion Prep Academy's basketball team overwhelm Riverdale Baptist by a score of 47-24.
The Warriors (18-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Rosedale Christian Academy (Baltimore, MD). The Rosedale Panthers come into the Mid-Atlantic Independent challenge with a 20-5 record.
In their next game, the Crusaders encounter the Evergreen Christian Eagles (Leesburg, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 3. Riverdale Baptist will attempt to improve on its 18-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 9-13 record after their 57-38 non-league loss to Calvary Temple (Sterling, VA).
