In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Pinewood Christian Patriots basketball team scored a close 47-43 win over the Westminster Schools of Augusta Wildcats.
The Patriots (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against Brentwood (Sandersville, GA). The War Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 16-4 record. In their last contest, Brentwood edged Gatewood (Eatonton, GA), 42-29, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Bulloch Academy Gators (Statesboro, GA) in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 2 contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Westminster Schools of Augusta will attempt to better on its 13-4 season record. The Gators come into the contest with a 4-9 record after their 44-31 league loss to Pinewood Christian (Bellville, GA).
