Texas High School Basketball - Spring Woods triumphant over Sterling

February 1, 2025: Houston, TX 77048

The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Spring Woods Tigers (Houston, TX) and the host Sterling Raiders (Houston, TX), observed Spring Woods's basketball team overwhelm Sterling by a score of 63-39.

The Tigers (21-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Milby (Houston, TX). The Buffs come into the 5A Region III District 21 challenge with a 7-18 record. In their last challenge, Milby was routed by Sterling (Houston, TX), 48-30, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Raiders battle the Waltrip Rams (Houston, TX) in a 5A Region III District 21 challenge, on Monday, February 3. Sterling will attempt to improve on its 14-13 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 3-13 record after their 34-31 league win over Madison (Houston, TX).
