The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the St. Joseph Academy Bloodhounds (Brownsville, TX) and the visiting St. Anthony Yellowjackets (San Antonio, TX), observed St. Joseph Academy's basketball team knock off St. Anthony by a score of 41-23.

The Bloodhounds (19-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Saint Mary's Hall (San Antonio, TX). The Barons come into the TAPPS 5A District 3 challenge with a 11-11 record. In their last challenge, Saint Mary's Hall prevailed over Providence Catholic (San Antonio, TX), 48-32, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets battle the St. Augustine Knights (Laredo, TX) in a TAPPS 5A District 3 challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. St. Anthony will attempt to improve on its 23-8 season record.
