Fans at Saturday's league battle between the Chapin Huskies (El Paso, TX) and the host Jefferson Silver Foxes (El Paso, TX), saw Chapin's soccer squad knock off Jefferson by a count of 3-1.

The Huskies (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Canutillo (Canutillo, TX). The Eagles enter the 5A Region 1 District 1 battle with a 7-5 record. In their last battle, Canutillo tipped Burges (El Paso, TX), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Silver Foxes battle the El Paso Tigers (El Paso, TX) in a 5A Region 1 District 1 battle, on Wednesday, February 5. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 9-2 record after their 6-0 league win over Andress (El Paso, TX).
