In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Avon Old Farms Beavers ice hockey team scored a close 4-0 triumph over the Choate Rosemary Hall School Wild Boars.

The Beavers (12-3) will now prepare for their contest against Berkshire School (Sheffield, MA). The Bears come into the non-league contest with a 17-4 record. In their last contest, Berkshire School got by Salisbury School (Salisbury, CT), 1-0, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Wild Boars battle the Hotchkiss School Bearcats (Lakeville, CT) in a contest, on Wednesday, February 5. Choate Rosemary Hall School will attempt to better on its 6-11 season record. The Bearcats come into the contest with a 6-11 record after their 4-3 league loss to Trinity-Pawling School (Pawling, NY).
