The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the North Country Union Falcons (Newport, VT) and the host Missisquoi Valley Thunderbirds (Swanton, VT), witnessed North Country Union's ice hockey team defeat Missisquoi Valley by a final score of 8-2.

The Falcons (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Woodstock (Woodstock, VT). The Wasps come into the challenge with a 2-11 record. In their last challenge, Woodstock was routed by U-32 (Montpelier, VT), 5-0, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Thunderbirds battle the Milton Yellowjackets (Milton, VT) in a challenge, on Wednesday, February 5. Missisquoi Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 5-3 league loss to Brattleboro (Brattleboro, VT).
