The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Southeast Halifax Trojans (Halifax, NC) and the visiting KIPP Pride Pride (Gaston, NC), observed Southeast Halifax's basketball team knock off KIPP Pride by a score of 39-20.
The Trojans (9-8) will now prepare for their challenge against North Edgecombe (Tarboro, NC). The Warriors come into the challenge with a 2-10 record. In their last challenge, North Edgecombe was knocked off by Rocky Mount Prep (Rocky Mount, NC), 63-47, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Pride clash with the Wilson Prep Tigers (Wilson, NC) in a outing, on Tuesday, February 4. KIPP Pride will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Tigers come into the outing with a 12-3 record after their 82-43 league win over Rocky Mount Prep (Rocky Mount, NC).
