The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Pasquotank County Panthers (Elizabeth City, NC) and the visiting Northeastern Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC), observed Pasquotank County's basketball team knock off Northeastern by a score of 84-74.

The Panthers (6-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Manteo (Manteo, NC). The Redskins come into the challenge with a 9-3 record. In their last challenge, Manteo prevailed over Currituck County (Barco, NC), 59-47, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Camden County Bruins (Camden, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Northeastern will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record.
