With the triumph, Eastwood advances its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Troopers travel to Coronado (El Paso, TX) to clash with the Thunderbirds in a test on Saturday, February 8. The Thunderbirds come into the test with a record of 6-1. Coronado won 4-1 in their recent league test against Montwood (El Paso, TX)

The Cougars now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Socorro for a battle on Wednesday, February 5. Franklin will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Eastlake (El Paso, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-4.
