In Saturday's league outing, the visiting Del Valle Conquistadores soccer squad scored a tight 4-0 victory over the Horizon Scorpions.

The Conquistadores (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Parkland (El Paso, TX). The Matadors enter the 5A Region 1 District 2 battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Parkland by Hanks (El Paso, TX), 4-2, in a league battle.

Next up, the Scorpions battle the El Dorado Aztecs (El Paso, TX) in a 5A Region 1 District 2 battle, on Wednesday, February 5. Horizon will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Aztecs enter the battle with a 6-3 record after their 2-2 league Bel Air (El Paso, TX).
