The Portage Central Mustangs (Portage, MI) basketball crushed the visiting Portage Northern Huskies (Portage, MI), 66-39 in Thursday's league test.
The Mustangs (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Three Rivers (Three Rivers, MI). The Wildcats go into the Wolverine B test with a 10-5 record. In their last test, Three Rivers was trounced by Sturgis (Sturgis, MI), 56-40, in a league test.
The Huskies now own a 1-15 record. They play next when they host Plainwell for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 15. Portage Northern will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 54-48 league loss to Otsego (Otsego, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 11-5.
