North Dakota High School Basketball - Center-Stanton can't hold off New Salem

The New Salem Holsteins basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the host Center-Stanton Wildcats to 39 in the Holsteins non-league victory on Thursday.
The Holsteins now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richardton-Taylor for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 12. New Salem will battle a Raiders team coming off a 59-37 league loss to Beach (Beach, ND). The Raiders record now stands at 5-10.
The Wildcats (1-14) will now prepare for their contest against Standing Rock (Fort Yates, ND). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Standing Rock edged Solen (Solen, ND), 77-31, in a league contest.
