The Chippewa Valley Big Reds basketball team (Clinton Township, MI), dropped 36-24 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Cousino Patriots (Warren, MI)
The Patriots now possess a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fraser for a Macomb Area - Blue battle on Monday, February 14. Cousino will confront a Ramblers team coming off a 40-39 league win over Lake Shore (St. Clair Shores, MI). The Ramblers record now stands at 6-9.
The Big Reds (4-11) will now prepare for their battle against L'Anse Creuse (Harrison Township, MI). The Lancers come into the Macomb Area - Blue battle with a 5-10 record. In their last battle, L'Anse Creuse dropped by Lakeview (St. Clair Shores, MI), 35-16, in a league battle.
