In Thursday's league match, the host Piedmont Hills Pirates basketball team scored a good 59-39 triumph over the Independence 76ers.
In their next game, the Pirates face the Terra Nova Tigers (Pacifica, CA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 12. Piedmont Hills will attempt to move on its 10-7 season record.
